LIGNIA Training Day

Timber Connection staff recently spent a day at LIGNIA’s headquarters in Barry, South Wales for a product training event hosted by LIGNIA’s commercial director, Steve Rogers.

Our ongoing training program gave us a detailed insight into how LIGNIA is produced and the many benefits of using the modified timber in external or internal applications from cladding, decking and flooring through to joinery, doors and furniture.

For some of the staff it was the first time they had visited the LIGNIA plant where they were able to tour the facility and inspect LIGNIA product that had just finished its manufacturing process. Everyone was suitably impressed by the science and technology that has gone into it’s development and the impressive modified timber it produces.

A big thank you to the LIGNIA team for their kind hospitality and the lovely spread they laid on, included their hearty Welsh stew and tasty Welsh cakes!

We expect to receive our first volumes of LIGNIA into our Kirkby Warehouse towards the end of April and look forward to discussing your requirements very soon.
