A day with TTJ

It’s been a busy 12 months at Timber Connection. Last month we finally had time to take stock when we welcomed the editor of the TTJ, Stephen Powney to our newly refurbished offices in Ware, Hertfordshire. Not only did we look back on all the exciting developments over the year, but we also reflected on the last 25 years since the company’s establishment.

Stephen spent the afternoon with Managing Director Danny Catherall, Financial Director David Green and Commercial Director Keeley Baker for a feature in the May edition of the Timber Trades Journal.

The candid conversation meandered from the days of inception and how a chance purchase of 30 loads of Hardwood set the stage for future trading, to how the company recently refreshed its identity, leading onto its partnership with LIGNIA ensuring Timber Connection remain at the forefront of the industry.
